We are Ed Kowalski Removals Exeter, a family business specialising in professional removals and man and van services across Exeter and Devon. Our work extends throughout the UK for customers undertaking longer-distance moves. Whether the task involves a flat, a small home or a larger family residence, we provide removal assistance suited to the scale of the relocation. House removals, furniture transportation, single-item deliveries, student moves, packing support and office relocations are among the services available from our company.
A well-organised move begins with understanding what the job involves. For this reason, we consider the distance to be travelled and the conditions at each property, including stairs, limited access, narrow streets and parking arrangements. These practical details help us prepare appropriately and support the careful handling of customers' belongings. We place importance on communicating reliably throughout the process and planning each move with due consideration. Our services accommodate both smaller transport requirements and more extensive relocations, from local man and van bookings in Exeter to full household removals and journeys from Devon to other parts of the UK. By providing a range of removal options, we help customers arrange professional transport and moving assistance that reflects their particular circumstances.

I cannot praise Ed enough. Ed moved my storage from Exeter to Suffolk and he was professional, very accommodating and flexible even when things proved challenging. Good competitive rates and an excellent service. Hard working with a can do attitude. A really positive experience. I cannot recommend highly enough. Thanks Ed.

Used Ed Kowalski twice for long-distance moves (ExeterEdinburgh in 2022 and EdinburghExeter in 2026). Both moves were exceptionally well organised, punctual, stress-free, and competitively priced. Communication was excellent throughout, and everything arrived safely and on time. Highly recommended, and I would definitely use their services again if I move in the future.

Ed is a top bloke. I have used him as a man-and-van three times now and am planning to when I need someone next. He always goes above and beyond and keeps what can feel like a chaotic time calm. His pricing is extremely good and above all, fair.
The last time I used him was to place some stuff in storage. I was so impressed that he took control and helped organise the stuff in the unit neatly and safely. It would have taken me more than double the time to do it and more than anything I didn't expect such a thorough service for the price.

Great experience from start to finish. The team worked incredibly quickly but still took real careespecially in the kitchen where every item was individually wrapped and protected. Everything arrived in perfect condition. They were also completely transparent about costs, which made the whole process stress-free. Friendly, professional, and efficientwould definitely recommend!

I used Ed Kowalski Removals for my move from Exeter to Swindon, and honestly, it went smoother than I expected. Moving from a 4-bedroom house is no small job, but the team handled everything really well. I chose the packing service, and it was definitely worth it everything was carefully packed the day before. The next day, they moved everything and had it unloaded by the afternoon. No stress, no damage, everything arrived safely. Really reliable and professional service Id happily recommend them to anyone.

Shout out to Ed and his team. As a parent of an international student in Exeter. Yesterday Ed & his team came to our rescue when the company originally booked to take my daughters items to London said they will deliver 4 days after pickup date. This after confirming that she needs items delivered the following day as agreed when getting her quote.
With no hesitation Ed said he will arrange a driver to collect and transport her items to London. Fast and efficient!!
You have saved us from stressing out with us not being close by to assist her.
Will definitely use Ed again when she returns back to uni after placement year.

Exactly how I hoped these guys would be. They turned up on time worked quickly and were smiley and good natured. Whilst they were careful they just cracked on with zero huffing and puffing.
Unfortunately for removers we have a number of awkward heavy pieces of furniture but nothing phased them. The folk moving into our place pitched up with 5 or 6 guys with a similar amount of stuff to ourselves but our stuff was shifted by just two guys arguably quicker !
The acid test came right at the end of the day after removal and relocating our possessions in the new place. My wife decided a couple of heavy things would be better in a different room. I was up for leaving them but again still smiling the guys said no problem and shifted heavy furniture into different rooms. I honestly cant fault these guys and so Ceaser and Shane (working for Ed Kowalski) a huge thank you again for doing what you do. Highly recommended!

Collected and delivered a sofa to me, he was an absolute gem.
It turned out to be more of a struggle than anticipated for a couple of reasons:
Firstly it wouldn't fit in the lift, so he had to get this sofa upstairs to the second floor all by himself, which he did! It was bigger than expected (I know, that's what she said...)
Secondly it wouldn't fit through the stairway door so he had to dismantle part of the sofa. He then kindly put it back together for me when in place in the living room.
The man is a hero and was very lovely about this throughout the whole process.
Highly recommend.
Thank you!

I cannot express how brilliant and professional Ed was! The seller I needed a kitchen collected from a long way away kept mucking me about with dates and times. Ed was super flexible about this, with good communication. They were supposed to help him that end and they didn't, he did it all on his own, without complaint. He was brilliant at getting it into my house.
He was also hands down the best price. I will 100% be using Ed again in the future and I highly recommend him for your moving/ collecting needs.

Ed came to collect a large sofa for me and move it to another property. The sofa wouldnt fit through the door but this didnt phase Ed! Front door off, sofa installed and front door back on in 15mins max. Brilliantly efficient, friendly and tidy. A proper good chap and I would definitely recommend him.
